January 2008 Show Update:

The Nimble Fingers bi-annual quilt show titled “Stars All Around” will be held October 17-18, 2008 at The Universities at Shady Grove, Rockville, Maryland. The 2008 Show will display over 100 quilts, showcasing the variety of handiwork and imagination of our members.

We will feature our 2008 Opportunity Quilt titled “Celtic Cosmos.” As a group Nimble Fingers designed the quilt, dyed some of its fabrics, pieced its blocks, and created an absolutely stunning border. The finished quilt measures 73” x 87” and is being raffled off at the close of the 2008 Show. Raffle tickets sell for $1 each or 6 for $5. Also available at a cost of $.20 each are picture postcards of the 2008 Opportunity Quilt. Raffle tickets and post cards are available for purchase by contacting SJSellers@aol.com. The winner need not be present.

Additionally, we will provide a wide selection of vendors who will present their wares for use in your next project. Please be sure to check back as we will list our vendors as they commit.
